Mr. Philip J. Longo was born in Driggs, Idaho, in 1933. He became a licensed, Certified Public Accountant in 1963. He moved to Santa Barbara in 1969 and opened his accounting practice. While maintaining that practice, he went to Ventura College of Law and became a member of the California Bar in 1974. He merged his accounting and law practice, which formed this firm as it still exists today. His accounting background and legal education were well suited towards a law practice that emphasized: the Planning, Administration, and Litigation of Trusts and Estates, Probate, Conservatorship, all aspects of personal, business, and estate taxation, Real Estate litigation and transactional matters, Commercial litigation and Small Business planning. His commitment to the practice of law, his family, and to keeping the highest standards of both personal and professional ethics will always live on in this firm.
